Thank you, Sahi for doing this Book Tag, and allowing me to “steal” it to do one of my own. Make sure you all read Sahi’s List!
Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
I’m still working my way through the same stack of books I’ve been reading since the beginning of this year. I have made some progress on a few of the books. Honestly, I going to have to read the books in this stack one at a time.
Do you have a “seasonal” book to transition into the end of the year?
Without going into spoiler territory, this book begins right before the (Autumnal) Equinox and ends right before the (Winter) Solstice. This book is extremely creative and immersive. I can’t wait to read Book 2 in this duology!
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
This magic realism book has been on my radar since the beginning of this year. Yes, I do have an eARC of this book, but I’m not sure whether or not I’ll get to read it this close to the book’s release date. I do plan on reading this book by the end of this year.
What are 3 books you want to read before the end of the year?
I’ve been meaning to read past the first ~20 pages in each of these books. Will I get to read them before the end of this year? Who knows, maybe I will!
Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?
Who hasn’t grown up hearing and reading stories from One Thousand and One Arabian Nights?! This debut fantasy novel is the first in a trilogy and is supposed to be for fans of both Tasha Suri and S.A. Chakraborty. This book has been in my “Immediate TBR” pile since I received this ARC. I do plan on reading this book by the end of this year, but will it be my favorite book of this year? That’s a question we all need to wait for the answer.
Have you already started making reading plans for 2023?
I have a stack of books for my 2023 TBR! In fact, several books are being released in early January, which means I’ll probably start reading one or two during the upcoming holidays (U.S. Thanksgiving). I do need to read my backlog of books; and, there are SEVERAL books in that TBR pile! This is just more proof that there are more books to read than there are days in a year.
This was a fun Book Tag! If you’re interested in doing this Book Tag, then go for it! Just tag me in it so I can look over your answers to the same questions. Will we have any identical books on our lists?
Nice to see some very similar books on our TBRs which I keep hoping I’ll get to but who knows when… I just have so many pending arcs since April probably.. and now I have gone on a requesting spree and have arcs till March of next year 😭😭😭😭😭 I’ll never to get to all these book..
It never ends. And yet, we don’t want it to.
