The last few weeks have been very busy for me. Work and life has kept me occupied; and, while I haven’t read as many books as I wanted, I’ve been able to read enough to write up some reviews and, hopefully, reach my reading goals by the end of this year.
What have I finished reading recently?
All right, I read this book a while back, but it’s still an excellent story! You can read my review of this book here.
I listened to the audio edition of this book, which contained brilliant performances from the narrators.

What am I reading right now?
What will I read next?
What am I watching?
The Knockout Rounds begin this weekend!
The Final Season premieres this Monday. Keep an eye out for my reviews for each episode.
What am I playing?
I started gaming again. I know I should being playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild but I want to finish playing this game first. Both games have sequels coming out in 2023!
Library Reads
Take a look at what I’ve been reading for the Library Book Clubs at my job (I’m a Teen/YA Librarian). And yes, there have been issues regarding Banned Books in my region (not at the public library where I work, Thank God).
YA Book Club Pick for December 2022.
My Region’s Selections for the 2022 Mock Printz.
Umoja Book Club Pick for December 2022 (I’ll be leading this discussion).
Book Haul
I’m very excited to read these ARCs!
My purchase through The Pixel Project’s “Read for Pixels.”
End of 2022
Most of my weekly posts for the rest of this year will be my episode reviews of His Dark Materials: Season 3. If I can find the time to write and to post a review or two, then I will do so in between the episode review posts. Otherwise, please expect the upcoming posts:
- My Favorite Speculative Fiction Books of 2022
- Other Books I Read in 2022 That I Enjoyed
- My Most Anticipated Speculative Fiction Books of 2023
- Books from 2022 I Want to Read in 2023
What are your reading plans for the end of 2022? What else have you been doing besides reading? Who do you believe will win the World Cup 2022?
So many good books in this post! I’m very curious about Deluge, I hope you enjoy it (and the rest!)
I will let you know how the book is.
What a lovely selection of books! I hope things settle down for you and you get more time to read.
Thanks! I need to do more time management, but I believe I can pull it off, with some time. LoL.
SO many books from a wide assortment of genres! I am jealous you have an arc of The Foxglove King – happy reading!
I’m sure you have ARCs that I want, too! 😉
