Bookish Wishes (2023)

I’m piggybacking this week’s post based on what Leah, Birdie, Peat Long, and One Book More shared on their blogs. Remember, these are books I’m hoping to purchase (or, to obtain) in the near future. It’s clear my wishlist differs from the other bookblogers; but then, it would be boring having the same books on all of our lists.

The Shepard King, #2: Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig

Rook & Rose, #3: Labyrinth’s Heart by M.A. Carrick

The Night Eaters, Book 2: Her Little Reapers by Marjorie Liu, illustrated by Sana Takeda

The Murderbot Diaries, #7: System Collapse by Martha Wells

The Up-and-Under, #4: Under the Smokestrewn Sky by A. Deborah Baker

Wayward Children, #9: Mislaid in Parts Half-Known by Seanan McGuire

Thornhedge by T. Kingfisher

Phoenix Hoard, #1: Ebony Gate by Julia Vee and Ken Bebelle

The Sandsea Trilogy, #2: The Ashfire King by Chelsea Abdullah

Iron Widow, #2: Heavenly Tyrant by Xiran Jay Zhao

What are some of the books on your wishlist?

  1. You’ve got so many great books on here – a lot of these are on my TBR, and I only didn’t list them because I know the publisher sends me ARCs and these are likely to be on the list of what gets sent. But I always love seeing your lists, and thank you for linking back to mine!

    1. That’s the plan for me, too. But, I realized that some of the editors and the marketers read through our blogs and our reviews. And, when they do, they “send over galleys” they believe we will enjoy.

  2. Great selection! I still have some catching up to do with the Murderbots series. I’ve only read a couple so far. I’ll be reading Gillig’s One Dark Window in August and can’t wait. Hope you enjoy the second book and the rest of these when you get your hands on them!!
